The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has arrested a CRPF personnel, Moti Ram Jat, for allegedly spying for Pakistan. He was receiving funds from the PIOs through various conduits and was dismissed from the CRPF service on May 21, 2025. Jat was produced before a special court and remanded to NIA custody till June 6.
